Job Description

As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are an important part of the care team and contribute to ensuring that daily life functions as smoothly as possible for patients who need help, support, and care. You collaborate with various professionals and participate in treatments and examinations. The tasks vary depending on the workplace and organization, and to match you with the right position, you can indicate your preferences regarding specialization in your application.

About You

To work as a nursing assistant/care assistant, you must be a trained nursing assistant. In somatic hospital care, it is, in most units, a requirement to have completed acute care with 200 credits and have passed the practical training for that course. You may also be a nursing or medical student who, at the start of employment, has completed at least the third semester. To provide our patients with good and safe care, it is important that our employees can communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

You meet patients and their relatives with empathy and respect and enjoy working in a team where you contribute to good collaboration. You take responsibility in your work and follow routines, and you continue to develop as you settle into the role.
