Welcome to apply for the position of building project designer/architect at Strandberg Arkitektur. We are looking for someone who wants to be involved in creating drawings and smart solutions in all stages of the construction process. Strandberg Arkitektur works from idea to finished project, creating drawings and visualizations for new construction, renovation, or extension.

Location: Halmstad (offices are also located in Kungsbacka, Varberg, Helsingborg, and Trelleborg within the MTA group).

Strandberg Arkitektur was founded in 2009 with a focus on designing architectural drawings and creating 3D images in Halland and surrounding areas. The company is run by Lennart and Michael Strandberg and has been partially owned by MTA Bygg & Anläggning AB since 2023.

Since its inception, we have had the opportunity to design and project a variety of projects, ranging from apartment buildings, warehouses, and villas to smaller garden sheds and similar. We have also been awarded Halmstad Municipality's architecture prize 2024 for our involvement in My Feldts Skolberget in Oskarström. Our projects are spread across Sweden, where we have had the pleasure of making contributions from Boden in the north to southernmost Trelleborg.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Architectural or building project designer education from a university, college, or equivalent.
• Experience working with building design or architecture, preferably with reference projects from the idea stage to completed building. You should be able to produce architectural drawings from sketches to finished documents.
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team. Our points of contact are many, and it is important that you can meet clients based on the current level of knowledge in architecture.
• Creativity and a strong ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of the regulations applicable to ensure correct documentation.
• Good proficiency in ArchiCad.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience from the entire construction process – from sketches to building permits and as-built documents.
• Knowledge of sustainable building methods, to contribute ideas for sustainable construction and creative solutions that promote sustainability.
• Reference projects within our existing areas and/or other projects based on the above requirements.
• The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be stress-resistant.
• Experience working with 3D models/BIM.
• Creating 3D visualizations.
