We are looking for a Project Engineer for the Swedish Transport Administration.
This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Stockholm.
The position is full-time.
The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.
The Assignment
As a project engineer for telecommunication systems, you will work to ensure the operation and maintenance of installations in the road infrastructure within the maintenance district of Eastern/Stockholm. The role involves supporting project management in administrative and project-leading tasks related to technical systems such as telecommunication systems, traffic control, lighting, and other infrastructure in road tunnels and movable bridges. The work includes managing permissions, administration of workspaces and project portals, risk management, and ongoing collaboration with contractors and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Participate in construction and technical meetings as well as internal monthly reviews.
Follow up on deliveries in the maintenance system GUS.
Manage financial follow-up and invoices.
Act as a contact person for the project's various stakeholders.
Work in the project portal and be responsible for record-keeping.
Contribute to the work with control programs and customer matters.
Requirements (Mandatory)
Technical university education of at least 180 credits (120 points) or other education combined with experience deemed equivalent by the Swedish Transport Administration.
At least one year of experience as a project engineer, site manager, or assistant project manager in a technically oriented project.
Experience with administrative tasks related to project activities.
Good computer skills and experience working with operational IT support systems.
Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
Knowledge of contract law.
Valid driver's license for passenger cars.
Desirable
You have experience working with operation and maintenance activities within telecommunication systems.
You have several years of relevant experience with technical systems in the construction industry.
You have experience working in or closely related to road tunnels.
