Then we would love to see you as an employee within the Community Sector in Lidköping Municipality! We are currently looking for a Food Inspector.

About the organization

We have recently reorganized within the Community Sector, creating a joint area for Environment and Construction to utilize resources and competencies more effectively over time. We strive for an organization that is communicative, transparent, and service-oriented with a clear affiliation within the sector and ensures the organization's ability for digitization initiatives and business development.

The new area consists of six teams led daily by a team leader. You would belong to the Food team. The team leaders, together with the area manager, form the management group of the area.

Job responsibilities

The position involves many daily contacts in meetings, in writing, and by phone. You will plan and conduct inspections within the Food area, handle cases, and follow up on compliance with legislation. A strong focus will be on early dialogues with our customers to explain the conditions within each case in a pedagogical and clear manner.

We have a digital working method and are driven to continue developing our operations and working methods together with other areas within the Community Sector. Our goal is to do the best for the customer. With us, you will work with various types of cases with varying complexity alongside your colleagues.

Who are you?

You have education and experience as a Food Inspector, relevant university education, or equivalent knowledge and experience and feel ready to become part of our team.

A driver's license is a requirement.

It is of great importance that you are open and flexible to the customer's needs and wishes. To thrive in the job, you need to be able to work in a structured manner as you handle cases that are in different phases. You need to have high social competence and be good at collaborating with others. You are good at expressing yourself in speech and writing and can make decisions independently. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
