We need to strengthen our team for the summer. We are a wonderful, dedicated, and joyful group that works with warmth, empathy, and competence for healthy and independent care recipients.

Within health and medical care, the municipality's dietitian, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehab assistants, and a vision and hearing representative also work.

In our area of operations, there is also the assistance unit with which we have a close collaboration.

The social administration consists of 600 employees where the breadth of the assignment is extensive. The administration is divided into five areas of operation and is present throughout the municipality. Here, we are responsible for providing care and support, assistance and service, as well as health and medical care to the municipality's citizens in need, at all stages of life.

A day as a nurse or district nurse in health and medical care

With the citizen in focus, you will work closely with care staff, the rehab team, and other professionals in the operation.

As a nurse and district nurse with us, you will assess and perform medical measures and care interventions, as well as follow up and document according to applicable legislation. We work based on a team-based approach to ensure that individuals receive safe and good care.

The target group lives in both ordinary housing, special housing, and within the municipality's LSS operations.

In Krokom municipality, we have 3 special housing units under our own management: Blomstergården located centrally in Krokom, Hällebo in Offerdal, and Solbacka in Föllinge.

At Blomstergården, we also have our short-term accommodation and respite care places.

In each location, we also have district nurse areas.

Within health and medical care, we have our own resource pool where you can work at various workplaces throughout the municipality.

Your competence

  • Swedish license as a nurse. You are a district nurse or a nurse with further education that the employer assesses as relevant, e.g., elderly care.
  • Driver's license B
  • Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Good computer skills and ability to write journals
  • You find it easy to collaborate and are a skilled mentor based on your profession.

You are curious and interested in contributing your knowledge, are confident in communicating with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues. You take great responsibility for your own work, are independent, flexible, structured, and have a good ability to prioritize while contributing to a positive atmosphere during work shifts.

Other information

We offer temporary positions or hourly employment during the day over the summer (June - August) with a chance for extension. Working with us also involves weekend duties every 6th weekend.

We adapt the employment according to needs, wishes, and are flexible as much as possible regarding the schedule.
