The mission of our department is to create value for our customers by offering decentralized energy solutions (DES) consisting of solar energy and energy storage solutions – i.e., clean, distributed, and renewable energy, along with related optimization services and flexibility. This is our contribution to Vattenfall's purpose of enabling a fossil-free life. DES is organized within the Business Area Customer & Solutions at Vattenfall.
We are now looking for someone to strengthen our technical support team who has experience in the installation and support of solar and battery solutions as well as support services. You will play a central role in our installation operations and work closely with colleagues, customers, and partners in your daily work.
About the Role
The role requires a good understanding of our products and services, as well as a strong commitment throughout the installation process. You will work proactively, identify opportunities, and propose solutions in dialogue with our partners. You will also handle advanced customer cases where your technical expertise and strong customer focus will be central.
Responsibilities:
You will participate in the entire process, from order to completed installation and support, by:
- Managing customer orders
- Acting as a contact person for internal and external parties
- Attending site visits and inspections
- Troubleshooting and solving technical issues within solar and battery solutions as well as support services, both during the installation phase and via support cases
- Handling incoming support cases from customers
- Working proactively by monitoring and identifying faults
- Documenting and closing cases in a structured manner
Key Deliverables:
- Providing high-quality technical support to our customers
- Ensuring the highest possible customer satisfaction
- Contributing to the development of our technical support processes
- Collaborating with other departments and external partners to ensure a high-quality customer journey

Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Education or practical experience in electrical engineering, electronics, energy technology, or installation
- At least 2 years of experience working with solar installations, inverters, battery storage systems, or similar energy technology
- Basic knowledge of support services and relevant regulations
- The ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and solve technical problems in both the installation phase and in operation
- Good knowledge of the Office suite and other system support
- Driver's license B and the ability to travel for work
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in fieldwork, site visits, or inspections
- Experience in technical support, installation support, or after-sales
- Knowledge of electrical safety, standards, and industry practices within solar and battery solutions
- Experience working in customer-facing roles or in collaboration with external installers

- Attention to detail and accustomed to documenting your work
- Technical curiosity and a willingness to learn new things
- Strong customer focus and the ability to adapt technical explanations to different audiences
