We are looking for a dedicated and self-driven Facility Coordinator for IES Österåker.

International English School has made a significant difference for students for 30 years. IES Österåker is a dual-parallel school for preschool class to grade 9 that opened in August 2024. When fully enrolled, it will accommodate about 600 students.

In this role, you will be an important part of our daily operations and ensure that the school's facilities and environment meet the highest standards for both students and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for and maintain the alarm system, access control system, and tags for secure access to the school's facilities.
• You will play a central role in the systematic work with fire protection and ensure a safe and secure working environment.
• Act as a coordinating contact between the school, the landlord, and other external entities regarding the school's buildings and facilities.
• Perform minor janitorial tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and oversight of facilities.
• Care for our beautiful schoolyard, ensuring it remains clean and inviting.
• Prevent and solve practical problems that arise within the school's properties and facilities.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in property management or similar roles, preferably with janitorial tasks.
• Is technically skilled, particularly regarding access control systems and fire protection. It is an advantage if you have completed training for facility managers.
• Is organized and has the ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Has a good understanding of the school's needs and enjoys working in a dynamic and social environment.
• Is responsible and meticulous, with a passion for maintaining our school environment.
