Field Support Technician in the Stockholm Region

Hydroware develops, manufactures, and sells high-tech drive and control systems for elevators. With a strong focus on energy and resource efficiency, along with the comfort of elevator travel, we are today a leading supplier to elevator companies. Today, we are about 200 employees in the group. We have our headquarters in Alvesta and also have offices in Södertälje, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy. Our customers are both large and small elevator companies, and our sales occur in over 50 countries worldwide. We have a turnover of approximately 500 million SEK and aim to continue our history of good growth. To ensure that we have the best products on the market in the future, we invest heavily in product development and creating tomorrow's elevators.

Hydroware is growing, and in conjunction with the launch of the HydroElite H2 and TractionElite H2 products, we are strengthening our Support Team with a Field Support Technician in the Stockholm region.

About the Position

Field support combines several exciting challenges in one professional role; top-class customer service, technical challenges, and pure problem-solving. In this role, you will be our expert and face to the outside world in the Stockholm region, focusing on guiding technical questions, assisting with troubleshooting our products, and participating in the installation of new products together with our customers. As a Field Support Technician, you will primarily provide support during customer visits, but also via phone and email. You will mainly provide support in the Stockholm area, but support may occasionally be required for customers in a larger geographical area, with an emphasis on Sweden and occasionally abroad.

The support team surrounding you consists of several employees, all of whom have many years of experience in our industry. We see continuous improvement work as an essential part of the core of our business, where we hope you want to contribute.

Who You Are

We hope that you, as an applicant, see an exciting challenge and opportunity to be involved in the launch of Hydroware's new products, which create new possibilities for our customers for rapid installations and cutting-edge technology in connected elevators.

We also see that you have;

  • 5 years of relevant professional experience with elevator systems and components or in similar businesses.
  • Basic electrical education at least at the high school level, or equivalent assessed professional experience.
  • Good understanding of electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics.
  • Good technical understanding, are technology-oriented, and generally practical and solution-oriented.
  • Driver's license B.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. If you have basic German, we consider it a plus.
  • Experience with the modernization of Hydroeliter is an advantage but not necessary.

We see that you have a genuine service mindset and are driven by technical support and troubleshooting. You enjoy continuous customer contact and have a great interest in technology and learning. You will primarily provide support in the Stockholm area, which means we expect you to reside in Stockholm.

The employment is a permanent full-time position. You will belong to the office in Södertälje but work from home in Stockholm during customer visits. You will have access to a service vehicle. Start date according to agreement.
