Care Assistant to Short-Term Unit

Are you the care assistant who wants to work in an organization where the focus is on individual needs and a rehabilitative approach?

The Short-Term Unit is looking for two care assistants for temporary positions as two of our employees are going on parental leave. Here you will work in a team with other care assistants, nurses, nursing aides, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, contributing to creating safety and structure for individuals.

The temporary position is for about a year with a chance of extension.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant with us, you provide care and support based on each individual's needs, wishes, and abilities, contributing to creating a meaningful everyday life. You have a professional and attentive approach towards individuals, relatives, and colleagues and work with a rehabilitative and person-centered approach.

You perform personal care and hygiene, transfers, laundry, cleaning, meal assistance, and other daily activities. It also includes administering medication and performing health care interventions as delegated, as well as documenting and ensuring good contact with relatives.

You are part of a team with other care assistants, nurses, nursing aides, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, actively participating in planning and meetings and independently carrying out interventions based on the individual's implementation plan.

Our operations are conducted during the day, evening, and weekends, which means you must be able to work at inconvenient times.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a trained care assistant with experience in elderly care and can document in operational systems
  • Is confident, engaged, and empathetic with a professional approach towards individuals, relatives, and colleagues
  • Can work independently as well as in a team and adapt to changes in work
  • Has flexibility in their working methods and the ability to create order, routines, and structure together with individuals

It is also meritorious if you have:

  • Experience in short-term operations
  • Experience with a rehabilitative approach
  • Familiarity with documenting in operational systems
