Olaus Petri healthcare center is centrally located in Örebro and has over 22,000 registered patients. Our catchment area includes both residential areas, apartment buildings, and rural areas, creating a varied and developing patient work environment for all employees.

The position is mainly located in the laboratory, but also involves working at the reception when needed. Tasks may include assisting doctors during examinations, performing EKGs, and taking blood pressure.

You will perform various forms of sampling, patient-related analyses, and quality controls at the healthcare center's laboratory. You will also contribute your specific expertise to the development work of the healthcare center and participate in supervising students in various educational fields. You will work in a team with other professionals at the healthcare center. We primarily use the data systems COSMIC and Flexlab.

Tasks at the reception may include assisting doctors with various examinations as well as performing EKGs, dressings, blood pressure checks, and other preparatory tasks for doctor visits.

We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on emergency care according to the previous program structure, or are a trained nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, transcripts from your healthcare education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding protected professional title must be attached to your application.

You should have experience in sampling. We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, who can work structured both independently and in a group. You are quality-conscious and have a good attitude towards colleagues and patients. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The application should include a CV, cover letter, and transcripts of completed healthcare courses as well as possibly proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding protected professional title. Other certificates, transcripts, diplomas, etc. should be submitted at a possible interview.
