Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant at Home Care East, you will work to provide our users with safe and good care, support in daily life, and a stimulating leisure time. We perform the work in the users' home environment and should always create the best possible meeting with both users and relatives. You will have delegated tasks such as health and medical care interventions based on the user's individual needs. Your work will also include everyday tasks such as cleaning, meal support, and laundry.

Documentation according to applicable legislation is also an important part of the job.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a high school diploma from the Health and Care Program or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. We view it positively if you have worked for a few years as a care assistant. You should feel comfortable handling delegated health and medical care interventions such as medication and insulin delegation. The work consists of many contact points and documentation, which requires that you manage Swedish well, both in speech and writing.

To succeed in this role, we see that you are flexible in your approach and can adapt your tasks based on the user's and the organization's needs. Since we operate in a changing environment and you will work on delegation, it requires curiosity and a willingness to develop. We also see that you are mature in your approach and feel a responsibility for users, colleagues, and the organization as a whole. Great importance will therefore be placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement, as well as the ability to cycle.
