Procurement Officer at the Riksbank

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

You will continuously support the various departments of the Riksbank in their work, primarily with the property unit, with procurements and orders so that the authority can make effective and sustainable deals. You will work consultatively and process-oriented and take responsibility for ensuring that procurements are carried out in an appropriate and correct manner. Advice and support in contract management will also occur. You will actively participate in the procurement unit's continuous improvement work.

YOUR TEAM

The Riksbank consists of nine departments. The procurement unit belongs to the department for internal governance and operational support. The procurement unit consists of seven people; procurement officers, contract controllers, contract lawyers, and the head of procurement. Here you can read more about the Riksbank's organization.

MORE ABOUT YOU

You have an academic degree in economics, law, or engineering. Furthermore, you have several years (at least 5 years) of relevant experience from the public sector in independently driving public procurements according to procurement legislation as support to the operations. You also have good knowledge of procurement legislation and its application.

You should have experience working with one of the procurement tools available on the market. We assume that you are a proficient IT user with good knowledge of MS Office.

You have a very good ability to understand, interpret, and formulate procurement documents and contracts.

It is an advantage if you have current experience in:

• procurement of property and internal service-related services, according to the standard contracts that exist in the area
• procurement covered by security protection agreements

You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. You have a very good ability to create good professional relationships, are attentive, and have a consultative working style. You have excellent communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

You are used to independently driving your tasks forward and taking responsibility for your deliveries, but you also take responsibility for the common result. You are meticulous and have a structured working method so that you can easily shift focus between different procurement areas as required by the tasks. You contribute constructively to both ongoing work and operational development work in general.

It is important that you enjoy working in a group with a strong shared responsibility. Since you support the entire Riksbank with your expertise, the position requires that you find it easy to collaborate with different competencies. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Start date: By agreement
Employment type: Permanent employment, a probationary period may apply
Location: Head office Stockholm
Working hours: Trust-based working hours
Possibility to work remotely: 1 or 2 days a week

The position may be placed in a security class, and a security review including background checks, security interview, and special personal investigation will be conducted for the final candidate. For certain positions, Swedish citizenship is required.
