We are now looking for a Client Development Manager for our M&A team in Stockholm.
About the role

In the role of Client Development Manager – M&A, you will be a central part of the business area's continued growth journey. You will work closely and long-term to identify, contact, and develop relationships with entrepreneurs and business owners who are facing – or may soon face – a sale of their company.

The role is part of PwC's sales organization and has been established over the past year with a focus on initiating and developing early M&A dialogues. We are now taking the next step and looking for someone who wants to further develop the working methods and continue to strengthen the inflow of new business opportunities, in close collaboration with our specialists.



You will, among other things:
  • Prospect interesting companies together with specialists
  • Own the process for contacting and booking meetings with entrepreneurs and business owners who may be interested in selling their company
  • Build relationships with potential customers who are not yet ready to sell their company but are future customers
  • Be the link between the customer and PwC's specialists by matching the right specialist with the right customer, handing over the contact during the first meeting to the M&A specialist
  • Take responsibility for sales structure and follow-up – not only for your own work but also by supporting the M&A team in these areas
  • Work towards set goals in terms of the number of booked meetings and the business volume generated

In this role, you will work closely with our M&A team, consisting of knowledgeable and engaged specialists with deep expertise in ownership changes and transactions. The collaboration between the sales organization and the M&A team is central to our success and creates good conditions for long-term and value-creating customer relationships.

The role is based in Stockholm and is a hybrid role. We value flexibility and work both from the office and remotely, with an expectation to meet in the office regularly during the week.

Qualifications and characteristics

We are looking for someone who has a clear business focus and is driven by creating new business opportunities through dialogue and trust.

For the role, we would like you to have:

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • A structured and proactive working style
  • Good communication skills and confidence in dialogue with business leaders and owners
  • The ability to network and collaborate effectively, both internally and externally
  • Familiarity with working in CRM systems, experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • Academic or post-secondary education in finance, economics, or sales is a plus
