At Scandic Landvetter, the vacation starts right at the airport. In addition to meeting new and old travel companions, both locals and long-distance guests will check in with us. Here, our guests can land softly in the lobby, relax at the bar before takeoff, or treat customers to a three-course meal. We are now looking for a Receptionist at Scandic Landvetter.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for providing our guests with world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details. You ensure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, safety tasks, and sales work.

The work in the reception involves checking in and out the hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit in the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge of working with a computer as a work tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.

However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit in the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

Information about the position

The position is a permanent part-time employment.

The position involves working every other weekend.
