Meals is a service sector operation within Ulricehamn Municipality. The mission is to serve meals to all preschool and school students as well as to assessed individuals in special accommodations, group homes, or their own homes. Today, there are 34 kitchens included in the food service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes all tasks that occur in a large kitchen, including ordering, cooking, serving, dishwashing, and self-control. The work is scheduled for all days of the week, which means that weekend work is included at Ekeros care and nursing home every third weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a chef for a shared position. On weekdays, you will work at Junibackens preschool. On your weekends, you will work at Ekeros care and nursing home.

At Junibackens preschool, you will work independently and be responsible for the entire kitchen operation. During weekends, you will be placed at Ekeros care and nursing home, where you will manage the kitchen work on your own.

In Gällstad, the new collaboration house Gällstadgården is also planned, an exciting investment where older and younger people meet in a common environment. Here you will have the chance to be involved from the beginning and contribute to the development of a new concept and the construction of a completely new kitchen.

We are looking for someone with a chef's education or other training that the employer assesses as equivalent. Previous experience from large kitchens or restaurants is an advantage. You have a great interest in food and cooking and show commitment and drive in your work.

Multilingualism is an asset within Ulricehamn Municipality, but it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish. To fulfill the assignment, you need to express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing and have good computer skills.
