We are looking for someone who is cheerful, positive, and enjoys the service industry. We offer a unique workplace at Karlsborg Fortress where you will be part of a team that focuses on the customer in our beautiful Soldier's Home Café, which, when built and completed in 1921, was named "Queen Victoria's Soldier's Home in Karlsborg".
To thrive with us, you need to be social, pleasant, and positive even in stressful situations, as well as being an organized team player who is self-driven and cooperative, because we work together here.
A temporary position is offered from May 1 to August 31, with the possibility of extension.
Common tasks in the café industry include; preparation of simple lunches and sandwiches, baking, cashier duties, customer contact, receiving goods, dishwashing and cleaning, and during the summer period, managing the outdoor seating area.
You must be flexible with working hours as weekend work occurs.
We prefer that you are over 18 years old.
