Hotel Vanilla is a centrally located hotel in Gothenburg with a focus on personal service and a pleasant atmosphere. We are now looking for a receptionist who combines morning shifts with afternoon/evening shifts - with combined responsibility for the reception as well as serving in our newly opened café and bar.

About the role

As a receptionist with us, you are the hotel's face to the outside world. You welcome guests, handle bookings, and ensure that their stay runs smoothly from check-in to check-out.

During the afternoon/evening, the reception is combined with simpler serving in our café and bar. This means that you will also serve drinks, prepare simple food, and meet hotel guests and customers in a more social environment.

It is a varied role where you switch between administrative work and operational service.

The morning reception shifts are approximately from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and the afternoon shifts are from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, including weekends. If you only wish to work morning reception shifts, it would be 1-2 shifts per week on weekdays.

• has experience in hotels, reception, café, or bar
• is confident, self-sufficient, and solution-oriented
• is social and has a natural, professional demeanor
• has a natural sense of service and upselling and actively works towards it
• thrives with responsibility and working independently
• can stay calm even when the pace increases
