We are now looking for an engaged and passionate Senior Sous Chef for a temporary position aimed at providing our guests with a fantastic culinary experience within our banquet & event operations.

About the role

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will lead the kitchen operations. You will be responsible for inventory, purchasing, quality control, and ensuring compliance with laws and agreements. You are responsible for maintaining a good working environment in the kitchen, ensuring adherence to established concepts and quality requirements.

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will also assist our head chef with certain administrative tasks and support in recruitment and staffing.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a burning passion for cooking who always puts guests, quality, service, and colleagues in focus. You are used to leading staff and taking significant responsibility in the kitchen. To succeed in this role, we see that you have education in hotel and restaurant management with a focus on cooking or equivalent, as well as work experience in a similar position, at least 3 years. We believe that you have excellent knowledge in gastronomy, nutrition, kitchen economics, and waste management. Furthermore, you have a good ability to plan and structure work effectively.

As a Senior Sous Chef, you are attentive and responsive. You enjoy fast-paced days, can take initiative, and are flexible, creative, and solution-oriented in your professional role. You see your importance in satisfied guests, are positive, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating. You take responsibility for maintaining a high level of service and quality in what you deliver. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently and have good computer skills.

Information about the position

The position is a temporary role until 2026-09-30 at 100% within the Union's agreement area, with immediate start. Working hours are determined by the business's opening hours.
