Located right in the terminal and the designated stop on the journey. At Scandic Landvetter, the vacation starts already at the airport. In addition to meeting new and old travel companions, both locals from Gothenburg and long-distance guests will check in with us. Here, our guests can land softly in the lobby, relax in the bar before take-off, or treat clients to a three-course meal. We are now hiring for our Breakfast team.

No matter why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You are responsible for hospitality for the entire hotel, both towards guests and colleagues. In addition to being part of the operations, you have a very important role in ensuring a world-class guest experience when it comes to our food and beverage environments.

Your main tasks will be to plan, prepare, and cook food, as well as present it in an appealing way. You and your colleagues will ensure that dishwashing, cleanliness, and self-control run smoothly and in accordance with food policies, concepts, and manuals. You will lead and distribute the work and manage staffing during your shift. If needed, you will have the opportunity to train new employees at the hotel and also assist the F&B Manager with administrative tasks. Working hours are from 03:30 to 12:00.

Who are you?

To fit into this role, you need to have a passion for food and be attentive to details and guests' individual needs. You appreciate order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. For this position, we would like you to have completed culinary training and have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role. Personal qualities and attitude are the most important factors in this recruitment. To fit into the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

Transport

If you drive, there is staff parking available at a favorable price, and if you take the Airport Bus, it only takes 20 minutes from Korsvägen in Gothenburg. If you have purchased a Gothenburg AB card, you can travel all the way without extra cost.

Information about the position

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a six-month probationary period.
