Project Manager at Scan

Are you someone with experience in leading technical investment and improvement projects in production and want to be part of a company that takes responsibility, from farm to fork? Scan is looking for a Project Manager who wants to join our continued journey with our new owner Lantmännen, where we have the vision to become the leading food company in the Nordic region!

This is what you will do

As we face a number of exciting projects within our production operations in the coming years, we are looking for someone who wants to investigate, plan, drive, and follow up on projects in our operations and future production. The projects will mainly involve identifying and driving investment and improvement work, automation/robotization, identifying and investigating existing bottlenecks and flows. As a project manager with us, you will take care of the overall project work - from developing project documentation together with the client - to the final documentation of the project. You will initiate projects, drive and lead parallel projects, and be responsible for time and resource planning. Other responsibilities include procurement and negotiation with suppliers, leading and supporting the project team, and coordinating all partners in the project. You will be responsible for ongoing contact and follow-up with suppliers. And of course - ensuring that the project's budget and financial plan are followed.

The role is based at our facility in Kristianstad. You will be part of a local team on site and report to the Site Manager.

This is what you need to succeed and thrive

You have:

  • A university or college degree, preferably as a civil engineer or similar.
  • Experience in a similar or related role focused on technical improvement projects within production.
  • Experience with CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent)
  • Experience in the food industry is a plus but not a must
  • Proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

You are:

  • Engaged and proactive in your work. In a solution-oriented and pragmatic way, you find paths forward, even in new situations.
  • Ambitious, motivated to develop and learn. You dare to challenge and question to develop the work and the business in the right direction.
  • Very analytical with a good ability to understand new contexts, process information, and draw relevant business conclusions that form the basis for your recommendations.
  • Communicative and can convey your insights in a pedagogical and convincing manner. Your contacts range from the production line to senior executives and steering groups.
  • Skilled at understanding the whole picture, what creates value, and what you need to deliver to provide the right support to the business. This perspective also allows you to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Independent, structured, and organized, able to handle parallel tasks and activities without compromising quality or missing details.

Of course, you share our values - Openness, Holistic View, Action Orientation - and our promise to take responsibility from farm to fork!

Does this sound interesting? We hope so! You can apply for the position online, preferably as soon as possible, but no later than March 29. In your application, you have the opportunity to add your CV or LinkedIn profile.

For a more objective and inclusive recruitment process, we do not accept cover letters but instead ask you to answer selection questions relevant to the position. The recruitment process includes both psychometric tests and competency-based interviews, aimed at promoting a fair evaluation for all candidates. At Lantmännen, it is important that everyone has equal opportunities for employment and development within the group.

At the end of the recruitment process, a background check will be conducted. If you have questions regarding the position or the recruitment process, you are warmly welcome to contact Talent Acquisition Specialist, Anna Lengroth at [email protected]

We look forward to your application!
