Do you want to become one of our important summer interns in 2026! In this job, you will meet and support elderly individuals who need assistance in their daily lives, as well as children, youth, and adults with varying needs.

This may involve cooking, cleaning, daily activities, or shopping together. You will also assist with dressing, hygiene such as showering, and toilet visits.

Your Responsibilities

In our work, we base our approach on the individual customer's/user's needs and wishes to provide good and close care and support.

Assistant/Nursing Aide Home Care

You will primarily travel by car and sometimes by bike between clients, helping with daily routines at home such as dressing, shower assistance, handing out medication, and being the individual support the client needs.

Assistant/Nursing Aide Care Home

You will assist clients in a care home with daily routines such as dressing, shower assistance, handing out medication, and being the individual support the client needs. In certain departments, it is especially important to have staff who can spread calm and security to the clients.

Support Assistant

You will work pedagogically within a group home or service apartment, providing support and care with the goal of strengthening the individual's abilities and independence through motivation and guidance. The individuals you meet may have extensive physical, mental, or intellectual disabilities. Your tasks include personal care, support with medication, household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping, as well as participating in and encouraging various activities.

Personal Assistant

You will work to provide support in daily life to a person in their home, based on the individual's own needs and wishes. It is a meaningful role that enables someone with extensive disabilities to live an independent and active life. The support may include both practical daily tasks and leisure activities, always focusing on strengthening the user's independence. Tasks include personal care and may also involve delegated tasks, such as administering medication. The user's life situation and wishes guide the work.

Your Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Exception: If you are studying the healthcare and nursing program in your 4th semester and have turned 17, you can apply for a summer job. The age requirement is based on the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulation 2012:3 regarding minors' work environment.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
• Ability to work with both male and female clients/users as well as colleagues.
• Flexible, responsible, and genuinely interested in working with people.

Meritorious:

• Education in:
• Healthcare and Nursing Program
• Child and Leisure Program with a focus on pedagogical and social work
• Experience in healthcare and support work.
• Driver's license (B).
• Ability to ride a bike.
