Welcome to us

Råcksta service housing is an LSS accommodation with space for 15 adults in their own apartments in the local area and a service apartment from which staff operate.

The mission is to provide support to adults who have an LSS decision. The work is characterized by respect for the individual's own abilities, opportunities, and limitations. The overarching goal of the operation is for the individual to have a functioning and sustainable living situation and to live as independently as possible.

Your role

In the role of support assistant at the service housing, supportive work in the users' daily lives is included. The support is tailored to the user's needs and in accordance with the established implementation plan. We have an ongoing effort to increase users' participation, influence, and power over the support and service we provide. Furthermore, the support assistant is to maintain social documentation and work in accordance with the routines of the operation.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for someone who is educated in the Care and Nursing program with a specialization in disabilities/special education or is trained as a support assistant, caregiver, or child caregiver.

It is an advantage to have documented previous experience working with disabilities and mental health issues. Experience in MI, low-arousal approach, and clarifying pedagogy is also meritorious.

Since the work places high demands on communication and includes administrative tasks, you need to master Swedish in both spoken and written form.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to adapt their working methods to the situation and is responsive to others. You need to be calm, secure, and structured. We also place great importance on personal suitability.
