We at Grand Hôtel are currently looking for a Senior Supervisor to join our Front Office team, a group consisting of around 30 employees. At Grand Hôtel, every day is unique, and as a Senior Supervisor, you are a central figure regarding guest experiences and staff development.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Supervisor who wants to take responsibility for the operation and management of our reception together with the Front Office and Assistant Front Office Manager. Within Front Office, we strive to deliver tailored five-star service and create memorable experiences for all our guests. As a Senior Supervisor, you will be a key person who, by coaching and developing the staff, ensures that we achieve our goals of complete guest satisfaction every day. Your role includes everything from smooth check-in and check-out to daily problem-solving and mentoring of receptionists and supervisors. Determination and good organizational skills are crucial for successfully leading the team and handling any challenges.
Working hours are scheduled for all days of the week, including evenings and weekends, according to a rotating schedule.
Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that every guest experience is characterized by five-star service and meets set standards
- Operational responsibility for the operation and ensuring routines and follow-ups
- Leadership focused on coaching and the well-being of the team
WHO ARE YOU?
We are looking for a driven employee with a passion for guest service and world-class hospitality. Attention to detail, flexibility, and a burning enthusiasm for guest service are essential to thrive in this role. Furthermore, we also see that you have:
- At least four years of experience in reception, of which at least two years in a similar role with leadership responsibility
- Experience with Opera and preferably Opera Cloud
- Fluent in Swedish and English, additional language skills are an advantage
- Education in Hotel Management/Hospitality and international experience are advantageous
