Riksbyggen is looking for a Customer Manager in Stockholm

We are now looking for a Customer Manager for Riksbyggen's customer group in the Stockholm market area. The role of Customer Manager is central in our customer-oriented organization and has primary responsibility for the ongoing dialogue with our customers, which consist of housing cooperatives and commercial clients.

At Riksbyggen, we work long-term and continuously develop our operations to best meet our customers' needs. Our core business is housing cooperatives, but we also have many assignments for private and public property owners and companies. The market area has about 120 employees and has an office in Stockholm. The position is within the management organization that handles customers' living environments and financial management.

What will you do?

As a Customer Manager, you will have a central role in our customer-oriented organization and be primarily responsible for customer strategy for our housing cooperatives. The Customer Manager plans, drives, and follows up the customer team so that our customers have full access to all the broad property expertise available at Riksbyggen.

The role of Customer Manager involves strengthening and developing existing customer relationships in a businesslike manner. With knowledge of customers' needs and interests, you offer tailored solutions based on Riksbyggen's total service offering and prepare bids, quotes, and contracts.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring a long-term and proactive plan for your customers.
  • Initiating and concluding customer assignments.
  • Being responsible for achieving set sales and budget goals, as well as ensuring revenue and profitability for your customers.
  • Working through the entire sales process — from needs analysis and identification of business opportunities to closing and starting assignments.
  • Actively collaborating with our delivery organization, focusing on ensuring both customer satisfaction and profitability in assignments.
  • Serving as a board member in one of our member associations.

The customer group consists of several Customer Managers who work together to develop and drive the work forward and to achieve the market area's common revenue goals. Together with other Customer Managers, you will also participate in customer activities such as theme meetings and trade fairs. The role of Customer Manager may involve evening work, which is compensated with otherwise flexible working hours.

You contribute with your expertise and engagement

We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing business together with the customer based on their needs.

You have an academic education from a university/college or equivalent, preferably with a focus on sales, technology, or property economics. You have experience working with customer care and sales in service companies, preferably within the property sector, and are accustomed to conducting and driving contract negotiations. Experience with AFF agreements and association/board work is an advantage.

You combine strategic thinking with an operational focus on execution. With the ability to see the big picture and understand the customer's long-term needs, you work in a structured and goal-oriented manner to develop the business over time. You are proactive in your approach, identifying opportunities and risks at an early stage and taking initiatives for improvements that create value for both the customer and the organization.

You have a strong commitment and the ability to independently drive sales processes forward. You are social and have good collaboration skills, are comfortable with various data systems, and have excellent communication skills in both spoken and written form. To succeed in the role, you need to have a high service mindset, a structured approach, and the ability to translate strategic goals into concrete activities.

As a person, you are driven by creating good customer relationships and making profitable, sustainable long-term deals. You are interested in people and communicate easily with various individuals both internally and externally in a trustworthy and professional manner.

The position requires a B driver's license.

About the position

The position is a permanent employment with placement in Stockholm, but work may occur in other locations within the market area.
