W5 is now looking for a Sales Executive to further strengthen the company and continue its ongoing success wave. You will belong to the Training business area - focusing on Defense & Security - and work closely with the Sales Director.

This position starts as a consultancy assignment for 6 months (equivalent to a probationary period), with the ambition for you to transition to a permanent position at W5.

About the Role

As a Sales Executive at W5, you will be responsible for developing and driving sales towards authorities, defense, security organizations, and reseller networks (partner sales). The role involves sales work focused on long-term customer relationships, procurement, and direct sales. The sales cycles are often long, complex, and large in volume! The majority of customers are in the public sector and reseller networks.

You will work closely with customers throughout the business process – from needs analysis and quotation work to delivery, follow-up, and training. The role may involve some travel, both nationally and internationally. You will report to the Sales Director.

You will among other things:

  • Drive and develop sales within the assigned market area

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Be responsible for and participate in public procurements (bids, documentation, negotiation)

  • Work with direct sales to existing and new customers

  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships and partner relationships

  • Conduct product presentations and customer training

  • Participate in trade fairs, demonstrations, and customer events

  • Follow up on business, budgets, and forecasts

  • Collaborate internally with technical, project, and support functions

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has documented sales experience, preferably B2B, at least 3 years

  • Has experience working with public procurements

  • Has an interest in technical solutions

  • Has good communication skills and is confident in customer dialogue

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

  • Has good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Is willing to travel for work

 

Meritorious:

  • Experience from the Armed Forces or other relevant background in the defense sector

  • Understanding of shooting training and military training systems

  • Experience in technical sales

Other Information

Employment type: Consultancy assignment for 6 months with the ambition to be over-recruited Start: According to agreement considering notice period Scope: Full-time, Monday-Friday Location: Stockholm
