Description

The Home for the Elderly is a care and nursing home for seniors over 65 years old.

The building is located on a scenic plot with access to a large beautiful park that provides opportunities for walks and outdoor activities for our residents. Several bus connections and the subway are nearby. We focus on diversity and equal rights and opportunities for all, where everyone should feel included.

The operation includes two units, one focused on dementia and one on somatic care, totaling 63 apartments and a day activity center. Here, nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists work. Nurses are present from 7 AM to 5 PM on weekdays and from 7 AM to 3 PM on weekends and public holidays, while a nursing patrol is available at other times. Doctors visit the facility once a week.

Job Responsibilities

The job responsibilities consist of the usual tasks for a nurse in a care and nursing home, where you are responsible for health and medical care. The work is varied and involves opportunities to meet residents in different life situations.

Your responsibility is to plan, execute, and lead the care work, as well as document interventions at the facility. Documentation is done in Vodok based on ICF. We also work with quality registers such as Senior Alert, the Swedish Palliative Register, and BPSD. All new employees are introduced through an individually tailored plan based on needs and wishes.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in elderly care. As a nurse with us, it is important that you enjoy working in a team. You are easy to collaborate with and always have a good attitude. Thus, you have a good ability to create and maintain good relationships with both residents and relatives, as well as with colleagues in various professional categories.

You are structured and systematic with the ability to see the big picture. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You are open to improvements and would like to contribute to our joint development and quality work based on the goals of the organization and the city.
