Licensed Psychologist for BUP Neuropsychiatry Southwest 2
Are you a licensed psychologist with experience and interest in neuropsychiatric assessments? BUP Neuropsychiatry is now seeking an additional 10 licensed psychologists for the BUP Neuropsychiatry Southwest 2 unit that will start in Älvsjö.
BUP Neuropsychiatry Southwest 2 will gradually start its operations during 2026/2027. We are now looking for 10 committed colleagues who, together with us at BUP Neuropsychiatry Southwest, want to help build the clinic from the ground up. Initially, the placement may be in Älvsjö or another geographically nearby clinic within BUP Stockholm. In 2027, BUP Neuropsychiatry Southwest 2 will move to newly renovated premises in Solberga (Älvsjö). The clinic's mission is to conduct neuropsychiatric assessments for children and adolescents aged 0–17 years and to be responsible for pharmacological treatment for diagnosed ADHD. At the neuropsychiatric clinics within BUP Stockholm, psychologists, medical secretaries, doctors, nurses, assistant unit managers, and unit managers work. These functions will be recruited for BUP Neuropsychiatry Southwest 2. We strive for high quality in our work and want to contribute to increased accessibility for our target group. At the same time, it is important for us to create a well-functioning workplace where we thrive, collaborate, and develop the operations together.
Job Description
As a psychologist, your main task is to conduct neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents in accordance with national guidelines. You will work closely with doctors, formulate referral responses and statements, and provide feedback to families and preschools/schools. In your profession, you will also contribute psychological expertise in case assessments and serve as support for colleagues in the team. The assignment initially involves some flexibility in tasks based on the section's needs and may initially focus on digital new patient visits before the operations fully transition to neuropsychiatric assessments. You will be part of a team where you have good opportunities to contribute to the development of the operations through active participation in ongoing improvement work. Your ideas and feedback are valuable and contribute to strengthening and further developing the operations. There is an opportunity for remote work with digital patient work corresponding to about one to two days per week, as the operations allow.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a licensed psychologist. If you have relevant specialist training, experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, and/or experience working with neuropsychiatric assessments and treatment, this is an advantage. Since a portion of our patients are younger children, experience with assessments for young children is also an advantage. We also welcome applicants with language skills beyond Swedish.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, structured, and meticulous, with the ability to work systematically throughout the assessment process. You are flexible in your interactions with patients and parents and can adapt your working methods to different needs and situations. You have excellent collaboration skills, good judgment, and a humble attitude. Working together with colleagues to develop and maintain a high-quality operation is a given for you. An interest in digitalization and the development of care processes is an advantage.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
We Offer
BUP Stockholm creates good conditions for you to develop and excel in your profession. As an employee, you have benefits such as free public healthcare, additional compensation during parental leave, the possibility of salary exchange, occupational pension, and insurance. We also offer flexible working hours, one wellness hour per week, and wellness compensation (5,000 SEK per year).
Employment Form
The position is a permanent full-time employment. A probationary period may be applicable. Start date by agreement.
Other Information
We will conduct interviews continuously during the application period.
The interview process will begin with a joint digital group information session for all who are called for an interview on Monday, March 16, from 17:00 to 17:45. You will receive a Teams link on Monday, March 16, to your email address.
