Temporary Nurse at the Defense Health Care at Livgardet in Karlberg

We are currently looking for a temporary nurse at the Defense Health Care in Karlberg.

The Defense Health Care is the Swedish Armed Forces' internal occupational health service and is present at all garrison locations in the country. The Defense Health Care is responsible for health care for conscripts and cadets as well as occupational health care for employed personnel within the Armed Forces. The Defense Health Care at Livgardet operates at our departments in Kungsängen northwest of Stockholm, in central Stockholm, and at the Military Academy Karlberg in Solna.

Main Responsibilities

The tasks are varied both from a medical perspective and in the military context in which we operate. As a nurse at the Defense Health Care, you will be part of a cross-professional team and will closely collaborate with doctors, psychologists, health educators, physiotherapists, occupational health engineers, and medical secretaries. Teamwork permeates our working method in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse.
• Driving license B

Personal Qualities

You will work in an organization with varied and independent tasks where you are often expected to make your own medical decisions. The ability to take initiative and be self-driven is therefore a prerequisite for the position. At the same time, it is essential that you have good collaborative skills.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

The position is mainly located at our reception at the Defense Health Care in Karlberg, Karlbergs slottsväg. Work at our other departments may occur if necessary, and you are a resource for the entire unit.

Employment rate: Full-time, Monday-Friday during daytime, with flexible working hours. Evening and weekend work may occur in connection with military exercises, for example. Personnel in the Armed Forces have the opportunity for physical training during working hours up to three hours/week according to agreement.

Employment form: The position is a temporary position until 2026-07-26. Start date according to agreement.

Individual salary setting applies within the framework of the Armed Forces' salary policy.

Livgardet is one of the Armed Forces' largest units with roots dating back to 1521. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel who will carry out international missions.
