The Social Services' Adult Unit is looking for a social worker who, together with colleagues, group manager, and unit manager, wants to drive and further develop the work within harmful use and dependency as well as violence in close relationships.

At the Adult Unit, more than 30 dedicated employees work together with three group managers and a unit manager. We offer support to adults in the areas of financial assistance, integration, harmful use and dependency, violence in close relationships, social psychiatry, and housing. We are a social, happy, and energetic workgroup where many have chosen to stay over time.

Job Description

As a social worker with us, you are responsible for investigating, assessing, and making decisions about interventions for adults with harmful use and dependency or who are victims of violence in close relationships. You follow up on granted interventions and ensure that the support is tailored to the individual's needs, applicable legislation, and the municipality's guidelines. The work involves close collaboration with the municipality's open care, which offers structured treatment interventions both individually and in groups. You also have contact with other internal and external actors to create a cohesive support for the individual. The assignment includes documenting according to applicable guidelines, contributing to development work within the unit, and actively participating in fostering good collaboration within the unit.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a degree in social work
• has solid knowledge and extensive experience in authority practice within the addiction field
• has experience working with violence in close relationships
• expresses themselves well in both speech and writing

As a person, you are committed, empathetic, mature, and flexible. You work in a structured manner and find it easy to collaborate and relate to others.

About the position

The position is a temporary position until 2027-08-31. Start date by agreement.
