Birkaskolan is an institution for children aged 1-5 in preschool and students in elementary school. The school's goal is to develop creativity, self-confidence, and a desire to learn through Montessori pedagogy. We will accommodate our entire operation in a brand new school building from the school year 2025/2026.

In preschool, we have about 115 children distributed across 7 departments.

We have our own KRAV-certified kitchen.

Our preschool offers continuity and safety in an inspiring environment, adapted to the children's size and developmental level. We want each child, based on their circumstances, to grow and develop into an independent individual at their own pace. The child groups are age-mixed, and the older children serve as role models and can guide and assist the younger ones.

Free play, nature, and creative activities are also a significant and important part of our operations.

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute as needed. Perhaps you are a university student who can step in occasionally, or you are a retiree who can contribute when you are available. We want you to have good teamwork skills, be flexible, and have a positive attitude. You should preferably be trained as a childcare worker or have a similar background. Experience and education are advantageous, but we are also looking for someone interested in starting to work with children's development.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the advertisement expires.
