Do you want to be part of an engaged team working to empower our citizens in Upplands-Bro municipality during the summer of 2026? The Social Services Adult Unit is looking for a summer substitute who will work within harmful use and dependence and social psychiatry.

At the Adult Unit, over 30 dedicated employees work together with three group leaders and a unit manager. We provide support to adults in areas such as financial assistance, integration, harmful use and dependence, domestic violence, social psychiatry, and housing. We are a social, happy, and energetic workgroup where many have chosen to stay over time.

Job Description

As a social worker with us, you are responsible for investigating, assessing, and making decisions about interventions for adults with harmful use and dependence or those who are victims of domestic violence. You follow up on granted interventions and ensure that support is tailored to the individual's needs, applicable legislation, and the municipality's guidelines. The work involves close collaboration with the municipality's open care, which offers structured treatment interventions both individually and in groups. You also have contact with other internal and external actors to create a cohesive support system for the individual. The assignment includes documenting according to applicable guidelines, contributing to development work within the unit, and actively participating in fostering good collaboration within the unit.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a degree in social work or is currently studying
• expresses themselves well in both spoken and written language

As a person, you are committed, empathetic, mature, and flexible. You find it easy to collaborate and relate to others.

About the Position

The position is a temporary position until 2026-08-31. Start date by agreement.
