Key Account Manager at Lindvalls Chark

This is what you will do
As a Key Account Manager at Lindvalls Chark, you will be responsible for building and developing strong and profitable collaborations with our key customers – such as Circle K, Biltema, Menigo, and Martin & Servera. The role is central to securing the company's long-term growth and profitability.
You have overall responsibility for your customer portfolio and lead the work of planning, negotiating, and following up on sales, assortment, campaigns, and margins. You negotiate annual agreements, are responsible for pricing and calculations, and ensure optimal product placement and pricing strategy.
The role also includes driving product and category development in close collaboration with the customers' purchasing and category teams. Internally, you collaborate broadly – with product development, production, finance, and field sales teams – to ensure that each customer receives the best possible service and business results. The role is operational and broad, and you are expected to work solution-oriented and flexibly in line with the needs of the business.
You analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and performance data and translate insights into concrete activities that strengthen Lindvalls Chark's position in the market. You are also responsible for logistics arrangements within your customer area and represent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events.
You report to the Commercial Director and are based in Stockholm. The team you belong to is geographically spread across several locations, which means you collaborate closely with remote colleagues and need to thrive in a flexible and communicative work style. Frequent travel is required in this position.
This is what you need to succeed and thrive
You have:
- Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or economics – or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the role of KAM within the food industry, preferably in retail.
- Experience negotiating with large chains and wholesalers.
- Good understanding of market structures, campaign logic, and pricing strategies.
- Ability to work data-driven with follow-up on sales, margins, and volume.
You are:
- Relationship-building and communicative – you build strong collaborations both internally and externally.
- Business-minded and results-oriented with a clear commercial drive.
- Structured, analytical, and meticulous with a focus on follow-up and development.
- Experienced in negotiations, solution-oriented, and confident in driving business from idea to execution.
