The base unit of Information Technology is tasked with managing and developing the region's information systems and technical infrastructure based on overarching strategies, as well as delivering and developing operational support and service offerings.

We are looking for a senior Active Directory and PKI specialist for the IT infrastructure department, which is part of the base unit of Information Technology, including the departments of IT system management for healthcare, IT service, IT infrastructure, IT development, and coordination. You will work both operationally and strategically with our AD environment, PKI platform, authentication solutions, and access models—central components for our most critical systems.

About the Job

The role involves being responsible for the operation, development, and modernization of our entire AD and PKI platform. You will work closely with other teams to ensure that identity, directory services, and certificate management are stable, secure, and sustainable in the long term.

Your main responsibilities:

Operation and Management

Responsible for the operation, monitoring, and further development of Active Directory and domain controllers
Responsible for the operation, monitoring, and further development of our ADFS environment
Manage the structure of the AD database and how different parts of the directory interact
Work with replication, directory partitions, and the internal logic of the directory
Ensure that AD DNS functions correctly and is stable
Troubleshoot advanced issues within authentication, policy distribution, DNS, and directory services
Manage and further develop our PKI platform, certificate templates, and the entire certificate chain

Architecture and Strategy

Design and further develop our AD structure, access models, and delegation models
Drive development in identity security and modern working methods such as Zero Trust
Participate as an expert in projects involving AD, authentication, or PKI
Develop guidelines for directory services and certificates

About You

You are an experienced specialist who has worked extensively with Active Directory in larger or more complex environments. You thrive on having technical responsibility, enjoy solving difficult problems, and are confident in making decisions regarding identity and security.

Technical Experience

At least five years of experience in the operation and design of AD in advanced environments
Deep understanding of how AD is structured, including the directory's structure and replication mechanisms
Very good knowledge of AD DNS and authentication (e.g., Kerberos and NTLM)
Experience troubleshooting complex AD-related issues
Experience with federation services, particularly ADFS
Experience working with PKI and certificate management
Good understanding of identity security, Zero Trust, and privileged access
Familiarity with scripting and automation
