We are looking for a personal assistant for a man in his 40s living in Tingsryd municipality.

The work is varied and includes everything from personal care to practical tasks at home. You will work to preserve, strengthen, and develop the individual's own abilities and create a safe and meaningful everyday life.

You will start from the person's home but also accompany them to daily activities and other events outside the home.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we will place great emphasis on them. We value your empathetic approach, your ability to work independently, and your initiative. We also appreciate good communication skills.

The role of a personal assistant aims to support the individual in living as independently as possible, so you need to be open to changes, see opportunities, and be able to interpret the individual's needs.

We place great importance on personal suitability but would like you to have a high school diploma in:

• Child and leisure/educational assistant training/care and nursing or other educational training

Desirable qualifications:

• Sign language or signs as support
• Previous experience as a personal assistant

The position is approximately 70%, where you have the opportunity to increase your working hours through resource shifts in other operations.

We use a 6-month probationary period.
