The Social Administration in Askersund Municipality is responsible for elderly care, LSS and care operations, social psychiatry, services for unaccompanied refugee children, as well as individual and family care and municipal health and medical care.

The Health and Medical Care Unit is now looking for an engaged occupational therapist for a summer substitute!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist in Askersund Municipality, you will work in the social administration's health and medical care unit. During the summer, you will work across all operational areas (home care, short-term accommodation, special accommodation, social psychiatry, and LSS).

Your responsibilities include conducting various activity assessments, setting goals, planning interventions, performing rehabilitative training interventions, prescribing and testing technical aids, guiding and delegating to care staff, and documenting according to health and medical care legislation. A strong focus is placed on collaboration with teams that include occupational therapists, nurses, physiotherapists, unit managers, care staff, assistance officers, as well as patients and relatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

A licensed occupational therapist is a requirement, and experience from municipal operations is meritorious.

Being adaptable to change and willing to explore new ways of working are qualities we value. A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement. Your experience with various data and journal systems, including Procapita, Lifecare SP, as well as experience in municipal care, is desirable.
