We are looking for dedicated nursing assistants for our fine facility. Ågården in central Lindesberg is a special accommodation for the elderly, consisting of seven departments, two of which are focused on dementia care. About 60 nursing assistants/care assistants and 2 nurses and occupational therapists work here.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a nursing assistant at Ågården means that you have a professional approach towards residents, relatives, and colleagues, and the ability to build trust. You will perform standard nursing assistant tasks, including personal care and hygiene, transfers, laundry, cleaning, assistance with meals, and other daily activities. It also includes administering medication and performing other health and medical care tasks as delegated. We work with a contact person system, and you will be responsible for some residents' care plans. You are secure and stable, enjoy collaborating, and will play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, and unit manager. Your daily work includes documenting and managing other digital tasks via computer and mobile phone.

The working hours are scheduled for day/evening/weekend. We care about your well-being and offer wellness funds or exercise hours, and as a permanent employee, you have the opportunity for extra days off through vacation exchange.

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to have proof of the right to use the title nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

You must be proficient in Swedish to communicate with colleagues, residents, and relatives, and to document as required by the organization. We prefer that you have good computer skills. Previous experience in care and nursing is an advantage.
