Rehab öst is a rehabilitation organization within Primary Care in the eastern part of Region Östergötland.

Our collective mission is to provide equal rehabilitation for the residents of Östergötland, regardless of where they live in the region. Approximately 100 people work within Rehab öst. Rehab öst focuses on five main areas: inpatient care, neurological rehabilitation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy within primary care, and pediatric speech therapy.

Job Description

We are looking for a physiotherapist for a permanent position in neurorehab, Rehab öst, Vrinnevisjukhuset. We are a team of about 25 people and primarily work in teams that include occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and social workers. As a physiotherapist, you will assess neurological injuries and diseases in outpatient care, specialized home rehabilitation, and to some extent inpatient care. The interventions are based on the patient's needs and the rehabilitation plan that the team develops together with the patient and their relatives. You are part of the care chain, take responsibility for the process, and collaborate with other stakeholders based on needs. We also have a lymphedema clinic at the unit. Collaboration with others is an important part of achieving value-creating rehabilitation. The assignment also includes collaboration with our inpatient care in neurology to meet patients' needs throughout the process.

About You

It is a requirement that you are a licensed physiotherapist. Experience in rehabilitation for individuals with neurological injuries and diseases, work rehabilitation, and inpatient care is advantageous. It is also beneficial to have knowledge of and experience with lymphedema patients. A valid driver's license is required, as well as good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

As a person, you are secure and stable. You are good at taking responsibility and initiative. You have good collaboration skills and can communicate clearly with the team and other partners. You adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You have a high ability to provide a professional response to patients and their relatives. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
