The Social Administration is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and we implement interventions regulated by these laws. All activities are centered around the individual to meet their needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an employee in home care in Borensberg, you will provide our elderly with good care and support based on their individual needs and wishes. The work is carried out based on approved interventions in the elderly's own homes.

The tasks may vary between service interventions such as cleaning and laundry, personal care with hygiene, daily routines such as dressing and undressing, as well as accompanying the elderly to scheduled meetings or activities.

The work is largely independent, but you will work closely with colleagues as well as the responsible nurse, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist. Together we develop the operations through our various competencies, and we want you to contribute to a good result and the best possible everyday life for our clients.

As an employee, there is an opportunity for delegation where you, on behalf of licensed personnel, perform prescribed health and medical care interventions.

The work also includes administrative tasks, where you will use both a computer and a phone as tools. As an employed nursing assistant, the role also includes being a care contact responsible for establishing action plans for your contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or someone with several years of experience as a caregiver in the elderly sector. For those lacking nursing assistant training, there is an opportunity for an apprenticeship where you combine studies to become a nursing assistant with work in home care.

In our operations, the work is carried out in accordance with our values where the individual's needs are at the center. It is important to us that our elderly are involved in their care and that the work is carried out with respect for the individual's integrity and self-determination.

As a person, you are stable and secure in yourself. You handle stress constructively and maintain a good mood under pressure and adversity. You are a team player and put the team before yourself.

You are comfortable using a computer as a support in your work and adapt easily to new digital tools. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish as the role involves documentation.

Since we provide care and support in a large geographical area, a B driver's license for at least an automatic car is required.
