Primary Care Center (PVC) Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers during evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center.

We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The Sandbyhov Health Center is located in Norrköping and currently has about 15,200 registered residents. The health center is situated in bright and modern premises. We are staffed with competent and experienced personnel, about 65 employees.

Job Description

As a diabetes nurse at the health center, you will have varied tasks, primarily telephone counseling/digital care and your own outpatient clinic. Here you will meet a wide spectrum of patients in terms of age and symptoms. No day is the same. You will be part of a team with other professionals, and you will also work independently and make your own assessments both by phone and in your clinic.

We are a large health center with many different professions, including nurses, district nurses, general practitioners, ST doctors, nursing assistants, and more.

About You

You are a licensed specialist nurse in diabetes care. Other qualifications in relevant or related fields are advantageous.

We are looking for you as a diabetes nurse, preferably with a few years of experience in the profession. Previous work in primary care and telephone counseling is an advantage.

As you will be in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other organizations, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You also need to be able to handle various IT systems to perform your daily care tasks.
