The psychiatric clinic in Avesta is one of the clinics in Dalarna that offers psychiatric specialist care to the adult population in Avesta. Nurse/Section Leader at the Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic in Avesta

The responsibilities as a nurse at the clinic are varied and provide good opportunities for both professional and personal development over time.

In the role of section leader for the psychiatric clinic, it means being a leader without being a manager by supporting and guiding colleagues in the daily work at the clinic. The section leader will work with the manager on workplace environment issues, safety, patient safety, operational development, and follow the region's routines and guidelines based on the decisions made.

The section leader is a position that constitutes 50 percent of the employment and has a mandate of 2 years with a permanent employment as a nurse in the operation.

The section responsible nurse should regularly participate in direct care and work to ensure that the operation actively meets the quality and follow-up requirements placed on it.

Among other things, the job description includes:

• Function as a management nurse. Work in direct care, support and guide colleagues regarding routines.
• Ensure that available resources (competence, personnel, premises, and materials) are utilized effectively and flexibly.
• Participate and be responsible for development groups/areas of responsibility
• Plan and conduct internal training days

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• At least 1 year of experience with clinical work as a nurse
• Previously worked with improvement work or operational development

This position requires that you have a valid license for the relevant profession.
