Our Operations

The Lung Department 50 E2 is an inpatient department that is part of the area of heart and lung diseases.

The department has twelve beds where care ranges from acute care to palliative care. The most common diagnoses are COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, respiratory failure, sleep apnea, and lung cancer. Our section, which is relatively small, is characterized by a good atmosphere, close collaboration between different professional groups, and short decision-making paths.

Your Mission

As a nurse in the Lung Medicine Department, you have an important role; your daily work will develop your clinical eye and your medical technical skills. You will come into contact with central lines, arterial gases, cytostatics, drainage, patients with tracheostomy, and various respiratory aids, etc. You will also have the opportunity to focus on the nursing perspective together with nursing assistants, doctors, and other professionals involved in the team around the patient. If you have a special interest in documentation, student supervision, medication, CPR, or another area, there is the opportunity to work with your favorite area alongside clinical work from the start.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience with patients with lung disease is an advantage but not a requirement.

Your Competence

You are a pleasant person who is interested in joining a workgroup where you can discuss both serious and light topics. You are a confident person who maintains calm and focus regardless of the situation. You have a flexible and curious attitude and good collaboration skills. The department offers varied and stimulating tasks for you as a nurse; there are development opportunities whether you are new to the profession or have worked for several years.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position as a nurse where the working hours can be discussed. It is a rotation position with evening/day and night shifts. As a new employee, you will receive individually tailored orientation based on previous experience, usually 4 weeks.
