Welcome to us
The Unit for Digital Support and Security is part of the social services' common staff and is responsible for the strategic and long-term work with digitalization, security, and preparedness. We are also responsible for the management, development, and user support for the social services' specific systems as well as the installation of welfare technology solutions.

We are an engaged team of 17 employees consisting of development leaders, system administrators, security and preparedness strategists, alarm coordinators, and installers. You will report to the IT and Digitalization Manager. We look forward to welcoming you!

Your new job
As an Object Manager, you will play a key role in the development of the future digital social services in Jönköping Municipality. You will work based on the annual object plan and be responsible for maintaining and developing work methods, processes, and IT support. The work involves both internal coordination and dialogue as well as extensive coordination and dialogue with operations and staff functions. It also involves ensuring effective and legally secure information flows as well as ensuring IT security, accessibility, and reliability.

You will drive and coordinate the management of systems, development work, and implementation projects with a focus on digital development. This includes leading or participating in requirements analysis, process mapping, and close collaboration with relevant operations, other departments (objects), the digitalization department, and suppliers to ensure that digital solutions are integrated into existing system environments and support a unified working method. In this role, you will also represent the operations in external collaboration forums, both regionally and nationally.

The assignment also includes risk assessments and analyses based on applicable legislation and information security, as well as providing support to various operations in change management and operational implementation of new digital working methods.

Your qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:

  • a university or college degree of at least 180 credits in social sciences, system science, social work, or another equivalent higher education that the employer deems relevant
  • documented experience of leading complex projects in the field of digitalization and driving change and development work in a larger organization
  • good knowledge of administrative law, data protection (GDPR), public access and secrecy (OSL)
  • very good ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is meritorious if you have documented experience of working with digital development in the public sector, preferably within social services, healthcare, and social care, or have experience of working in social work or a related field in the public sector. It is also meritorious if you have education or certification in change management and/or project management.

Good to know
The recruitment concerns a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday. Our workplace is centrally located in the JP building with proximity to good communications.

Selection will take place continuously during the application period, and interviews are planned for the morning of 2/3 and 3/3. Personality and capacity tests will be used as a complement in the selection process.
