Would you like to help build one of the new regiments that the Swedish Armed Forces have been tasked with establishing? The government has decided to increase defense capabilities by re-establishing several regiments, with Bergslagen Artillery Regiment, A 9 in Kristinehamn being one of them.

Försvarshälsan Kristinehamn is an integrated occupational health service with the Swedish Armed Forces as the client. We also provide health care for students and conscripts as well as medical readiness during military exercises and operations. As a nurse at Försvarshälsan at A9 Kristinehamn, you will be an important part of a successful team in an agency that is in strong growth. Together with competent and dedicated colleagues, you will receive responsibility, development, and challenges. Försvarshälsan is located in Villingsberg until the establishment of the new regiment, which is planned to be completed by 2030 in Kristinehamn.

Main Responsibilities

• Health care for conscripts and students corresponding to primary care level.
• You will work in an organization with varied and independent work but also teamwork with other staff at Försvarshälsan. The team consists of nurses, physiotherapists, medical secretaries, doctors, and psychologists.
• Conducting your own physical training is also a work task.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with relevant specialist competence
• At least five years of professional experience as a nurse, of which at least two years of professional experience as a specialist nurse
• Driver's license B

Personal Qualities

We wish that you have your own drive, are customer-oriented, and enjoy working together with other professional categories. Flexibility and good collaboration skills are prerequisites, as well as good physical condition. You have a structured and organized working method.

MERITORIOUS

• Experience of working in a health center, emergency department, or similar
• Experience of development work and/or routine work
• Experience from service in the Swedish Armed Forces

Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the agency.

Employment rate: Full-time

The position is civilian

Work location: Kristinehamn, but business trips occur for both work and personal training. Our reception is located at Villingsberg shooting range until 2030 when our new regiment is completed.

Working conditions usually involve a 40-hour work week. Work during inconvenient hours, as well as irregular working hours, occurs as we maintain medical readiness during exercises and operations.
