Your workplace

Ward 46 provides round-the-clock care for patients with mood disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar diagnosis with hypomania and/or psychotic-like symptoms. We also offer acute inpatient care for severely ill eating disorder patients and have a self-chosen admission care form for patients with emotional instability who have contracts for that care form. The ward has 12 beds.

For us, good teamwork, quality psychiatric care, and a professional approach towards our patients are important. Our healthcare is knowledge-based and purposeful, individualized, effective, and equitable. We work with person-centered care that is based on the individual patient's needs. Care should be provided close to the patient and on the patient's terms.

Your tasks

As a nurse, you have a central and responsible role in the care team. You work in a team with caregivers and doctors and collaborate with other therapists in the organization. The work includes responsibility for observation, assessment, and implementation of medical interventions. You lead and support the nursing staff and prioritize and distribute tasks based on current needs. Together with colleagues, you are also responsible for documentation, planning, and follow-up of care interventions.

The position requires good independence and the ability to maintain a safe and stable care environment as well as to act quickly in acute situations.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry and/or have previous experience in psychiatric nursing work.

As a person, you work independently and take responsibility for your tasks in a structured and reliable way. At the same time, you easily create good relationships with both patients and colleagues, contributing to a positive work climate. You demonstrate a professional attitude and good judgment in your professional practice and make well-considered assessments from both medical and human perspectives. You are flexible and adaptable when conditions change, and your empathetic ability allows you to meet people with respect and understanding.
