We are now looking for a Senior Designer and Structural Engineer with experience in the aerospace industry for our client.
We are seeking a senior designer and a senior structural engineer for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in the defense and aerospace industry. The assignment is part of an initiative for future aircraft in the civil and military sectors.

About the assignment Our client is in an intensive preparation phase ahead of upcoming product development projects and improvement work with existing platforms. We are looking for: 1. Designer in structural development You will work on the design of aircraft structures and contribute to the development of future platforms and demonstrators. The role requires a high degree of independence and the ability to drive design work forward in close collaboration with other disciplines.
2. Structural Engineer in structural development You will be responsible for strength calculations and analyses related to aircraft structures. You are self-sufficient in computational work and contribute to method development and quality assurance of structural integrity.
Common to both roles is that you operate in a technology-heavy environment with high demands for quality, innovation, and collaboration. You are expected to be an active team player, contribute with experience from previous aircraft development, and have the courage to challenge existing working methods.
Requirements 8+ years of experience in the relevant field Previous experience working with aircraft Experience in structural development (design and/or strength) Self-sufficient in design or computational work Experience with metallic and preferably composite materials Good understanding of aviation operations and development processes Ability to work in teams and contribute to method and technology development Available for on-site work in Linköping Approved security clearance according to current regulations (not RK). Some citizenship requirements may apply.
Additional information Location: on-site Assignment period: 2026-04-01 - 2026-09-30 Assignment length: 6–12 months initially, with the possibility of extension Scope: Full-time
