HR Department, G1

As a Recruitment Coordinator at Boden Artillery Regiment, you will belong to the HR department (G1), which is part of the regiment staff. The HR department consists of 10 people, including 2 professional officers and 8 civilians. The department is responsible for the management and coordination of HR/personnel services and working environment at the regiment.

Job Responsibilities

A large part of the work as a recruitment coordinator involves supporting the unit's leaders in the recruitment process, which includes designing advertisements, selection, interviews, reference checks, and security vetting.

The work requires dialogue and collaboration both within the regiment and with colleagues at other units across Sweden, as well as with local and regional businesses.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting leaders in the recruitment process
  • Coordinating the recruitment process for the hiring of conscripts
  • Coordinating the unit's participation in recruitment events
  • Organizing internal recruitment fairs
  • Conducting exit interviews and annual summaries
  • Supporting the Recruitment Officer in the application process for officer training and higher officer training
  • Collaborating with the communications department to plan attraction and recruitment communication

You will also be a resource for other tasks within the HR department. There are good opportunities to grow in the role and take on more HR responsibilities over time.

To meet the Armed Forces' requirements for physical standards, physical training is included as part of your job responsibilities.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in personnel management or education deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Very good ability to collaborate and build relationships
  • Driving license B

The job involves a high degree of personal responsibility and autonomy. This requires a sense of responsibility, structure, and decisiveness. You are unpretentious, proactive, and a good team player with a coaching approach. You have the ability to express your opinions and are clear and communicative. You are flexible and can handle temporary peaks in workload with the ability to prioritize. A position at the HR department always requires high integrity.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Other Information

Employment type: permanent. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the authority.

Work location: Boden

Employment rate: full-time

Start date: as soon as possible

The position is civilian and involves military placement.

Salary: individual salary setting according to the Armed Forces' agreement.

Working hours: Monday-Friday 07:30-16:30, evening and weekend work may occur.

Travel may occur in the position.

Boden Artillery Regiment, A 8, is the Armed Forces' competence center for indirect combat. The regiment preserves and develops competencies, materials, and methods for future capabilities to detect and hit targets at long distances with high precision. A 8 has functional responsibility for CAS (Close Air Support) - leading air support against ground targets and for weather services within the Army in the Armed Forces. Combat in winter conditions is a special competence for the unit in Boden.
