Officer at 1.Cyber Defense Unit

The Cyber Defense Unit (1.CFF) is part of the Swedish Armed Forces' capability for armed conflict in the cyber domain. We defend the Armed Forces' command support systems through both proactive reconnaissance and reactive management of IT security incidents. Our designated adversaries have significant resources and high competence, which places high demands on us to protect the systems. As the unit's operations involve handling real missions, you will be a key player in defending Sweden and strengthening our collective capability within the cyber domain.

We are currently seeking officers for our combat unit.

Main Responsibilities

As an officer with us at the 1.Cyber Defense Unit, you will be a key person in our operational capability. You will work with planning, development, and follow-up of both the operational organization and combat unit. You will also work with personnel management and development.

Competence Requirements

  • Officer or specialist officer
  • Driving license B
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

  • Previous experience in leadership positions.
  • Good technical skills and/or technical understanding.
  • Interest in cyber.

Other Requirements

For employment with the Armed Forces, Swedish citizenship is required. Employment entails national and international duty to serve. A security clearance with background check will be conducted prior to employment. The selection process will be supplemented with psychological tests.

Employment type: Permanent employment, a 6-month probationary period applies for those who are not currently employed within the Armed Forces.
Place of employment: Enköping
