Air Combat School is looking for Chief Instructor Ground Defense (SO 7)

Recruiting Unit:

Air Combat School (LSS) / Basic Staff School (BBS) / Air Base Department (Fbasavd).

BBS trains personnel for the Air Force's air base units.

The Air Base Department is responsible for training at various command levels within the air base system, from group up to battalion and wing, as well as air base-specific functional and special training. In addition, BBS supports and participates in the development of air combat forces from a conceptual level to practical participation in exercises.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and conduct courses related to the needs of combat units within the air base system, primarily focusing on the protection and defense of air bases/wings
• Develop training within SOU Ground Defense for the Air Force
• Be prepared to take on the role of course leader
• Support the course leader in course evaluation and assessment after the course is completed
• Be part of the teaching team and assist the course leader in creating course descriptions for the current course and plan and conduct training related to the course's learning objectives
• Together with other staff at the Basic Staff School, participate in the development of new courses tailored to current combat units
• Be prepared to support training within SOU and OP
• Participate in exercises to develop training at the Basic Staff School and for personal development in combat positions
• Conduct basic course administration related to your own course activities
• Support other employees in conducting courses and training

Qualifications:

• Swedish professional officer
• Driver's license B
• Trained in the air base system within ground defense/security units
• Have trained within the air base system, e.g., conscripts, soldiers, and/or employees within the Armed Forces

You have a good ability to establish and maintain good relationships both within the Basic Staff School and with other units/wings, as well as a good ability to work in a team. You also have the ability to seek relevant information and share experiences to collectively develop our operations. You engage in your own development to meet tomorrow's needs both nationally and internationally.

Meritorious:

• Experience in an educational role and have trained employed personnel within the Armed Forces
• Good knowledge of the air base system
• Experience working within Armed Forces data systems
• Experience in staff service
