About the workplace

Home Care Hedegärde and Rural North operates in the northern parts of Uddevalla.

Our clients live in apartments and houses, both centrally and in the countryside. Our staff travels between clients using service vehicles.

Since autumn 2022, home care has entered a full-time journey. This means that care staff work 19 shifts every 4 weeks. Working hours include both day and evening shifts as well as every other weekend. A review of the needs of the operation is conducted every 4 weeks, which may result in schedule changes. Home Care Hedegärde and Rural North is part of a planning area with Home Care Skogslyckan, Fasseröd, and Dalaberg/Hovhult.

Home care in Uddevalla municipality is continuously working to implement digital solutions. Our care staff have individual work phones as a tool for communication, planning, information, and digital locks.

Job Responsibilities

We perform home care services in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL). Our mission also includes the execution of health and medical care services on delegation, instruction, or prescription according to the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL).

  • Your main tasks are to provide individualized care that creates security and structure in the client's daily life.
  • Perform support measures based on the client's needs and wishes, such as personal care, cleaning, meal support, and walks.
  • Carry out delegated health and medical care tasks according to HSL, such as medication management, wound dressing, and other care moments.
  • Contribute to rehabilitative working methods by motivating, supporting, and encouraging activity and self-capacity.
  • Document services according to applicable legislation and follow up on changes in the client's needs.
  • Be a designated care contact with an extended responsibility for continuity, planning, and coordination around selected clients.
  • Collaborate with relatives, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure safe, high-quality, and cohesive care.
  • Work both independently and in a team, focusing on good communication and a professional approach.

Qualifications

  • Trained nursing assistant
  • Protected professional title
  • Driving license B

Meritorious

  • Experience in home care

Other

Interviews are planned to be held on 11/3 and 16/3. Candidates will be called continuously.

For positions where a license/valid proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare on protected professional title is required, this must be submitted before employment.

Language assessment is conducted for certain professional groups before employment can be considered.

Criminal record checks are conducted for all positions within the social services.

For positions within HVB operations, an extract from the HVB home is requested.

For positions in activities aimed at children with disabilities, extracts regarding children with disabilities and verification of own information are requested.

For other positions within social services, an extract of verification of own information is requested.

If the extract is not digital, it must be brought in an unopened envelope during the verification.
