Do you want to develop in advanced cardiac care and work in an environment where teamwork, high competence, and patient focus are at the center? We are now looking for an engaged nurse for a rotation position between our heart clinic and cardiac intensive care unit (HIA).

About our open position

In this rotation position, you will have the opportunity to combine planned, patient-centered work at the heart clinic with acute and highly specialized care in the cardiac intensive care unit. The position provides you with broad and in-depth competence in cardiology and a clear understanding of the entire care chain — from outpatient visits to advanced monitoring of critically ill patients.

You will rotate between the department and clinic, corresponding to approximately 50% at each unit.

To thrive in this role, we offer you development in cardiology with both education and specialization through internal training. We tailor your introduction based on your needs and experience, as safety and security are important guiding principles in our operations.

About us

The heart clinic receives patients with needs in heart failure, cardiac rehabilitation, and anticoagulation treatment.

The cardiac intensive care unit has 16 inpatient beds, with a mission for cardiac intensive care. This involves caring for severely heart-ill patients, with readiness to handle acute events. Adjacent to the unit, we have an intervention lab where we perform coronary angiography, balloon dilation, and pacemaker surgeries. We also have a day care unit where we perform, among other things, electrical conversions and medication adjustments.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a Swedish nursing license and at least four months of experience in the profession. It is advantageous if you have cardiology experience or coursework in cardiology. We seek someone who is positive, organized, has good collaboration skills, and can handle variability, as situations can change quickly in the unit. Personal suitability is highly valued.
